Exabyte BVBA was founded in 2008 by Kristof Vertongen and Luc Stroobant. Both of them were active in IT for some time already and decided to join forces in a new company.

One year later, Kristof Vissers joined Exabyte BVBA as a third partner. Meanwhile the Exabyte BVBA team consists of 7 people.
